The Advisory Was Built From the Inside Out.
Before I became a career advisor, I spent over 15 years as an executive search professional recruiting and placing senior leaders at organizations ranging from venture-backed startups to Fortune 500 companies. I personally participated in more than 10,000 interviews. I sat on the hiring side of the table for hundreds of executive searches. I know exactly what moves a candidate from the shortlist to an offer and what quietly removes them from consideration without anyone ever saying why.
That insider knowledge is the foundation of everything I do. When I work with a client, I’m not teaching a generic interview framework I found in a book. I’m sharing what I watched decision-makers actually respond to the language, the positioning, the presence, and the narrative that converts conversations into offers.
I founded Henning Advisory because I kept watching talented, qualified professionals get passed over, not because they lacked the skills, but because no one had ever taught them how to translate those skills into the language hiring leaders understand. That gap is what this advisory exists to close.
